I noticed that too from news about the WWDC. Looking at what they did, I don't see why it was so hard, "revolutionary", or complex that it couldn't have been there from the start. Oh well.

"The main issue is the amount of network resources used by each phone. AT&T claims the typical iPhone user chews up about 400 megabytes of bandwidth each month. Other smartphones use between 40 and 80 megabytes." http://mystateline.com/content/fulltext/?cid=75931[^] Does iPhone users still force people to download the entire 60mb iTunes application along with Quicktime on each update?:~

I've heard similar stats before. Including 50x the number of Google searches[^]... If you think about it, 400MB is only about 20 visits to The Lounge per hour, 16 hours a day...

I chew up about 500MB per month on my non-iPhone. With an average connection in the 1.2Mbps range it's not hard, especially if I stream radio.

SO far so good for me.. am liking the fact they put the basics into the sms at last. I can delete a message instead of all and I can cut and paste. Very happy right now..may even do a dance..
