When Intellisense pops up listing out function parameters, if you hold Ctrl down the popup up becomes transparent, so you can see what's underneath but still see the members. Not exactly earth shattering, but still :cool: Am I the last to know about this feature?

AFAIK, that worked in VS2005 for the debugger tips - they must've started using the same code for Intellisense in VS2k8.

I recall, this transparency feature was one of the key selling points of VS2008.

Aye, they didn't do much to "sell" it, since I was also completely unaware of it. I think they need to have a word with their publicity department...

I would bet the farm that this was / will be removed in VS2010.

I can do things with my brain that I can't even google. I can flex the front part of my brain instantly anytime I want. It can be exhausting and it even causes me vision problems for some reason. - CaptainSeeSharp

obviously they didn't think it was necessary to announce it as the feature is "transparent to the user" :laugh:

Nope. Just heard it from you. That ought to relieve a bit of the pinched nerve I get when the dame pop-up is in my way.
