You got to appreciate the pictures. The only reason I visit the site is to see the picture of the day.

Yes, but unless I recognize the scene, how do I know where it is? And how do I turn it off? What if I use a dial-up connection and don't want to download it?

When Bing first came out, like a lot of people I had a look. It was only when people here started wittering on about the scene-of-the-day stuff, that I was aware that there was such a thing. You see I was running NoScript and had to specifically allow Bing before I could see the scenes. So that is at least one way to turn them off. Of course, the scripts might still be downloaded, just not allowed to run. I don't know.

Contrarywise, I have a cable Internet connection. But it could drop, in which case I may need to use dial-up.

But searching for what I want to find can't be done there.

They're montages of people suffering manic attacks. Apparently, Bing is the web equivalent of lithium... :~

Aha! Very good, thanks. What other undocumented features are there? How can I add that to the search setting in Internet Options?

Oh, yeah, I did that for Bing yesterday, but had forgotten that they have the "Create your own" feature, I used "http://www.bing.com/search?q=TEST&form=QBLH?rb=0" as the URL. Thanks again.

I really dig their video search with the little mouse over previews.

The vid search is nice, but it needs a volume control. They're way loud on my weven box.
