Interesting article in The Insider today, about Time Sucks. You know, those things that you find yourself doing, on a regular basis, that enable you to avoid doing any work. The author calls this Digital Fiddling and for him, and me, it mostly takes the form of generally goofing around on t'web. I call it Butterflying - flitting from link to link, just following my nose. The article suggests several 'rules' for curing oneself of the habit, the most important of these is Rule 5 - Reward Yourself. I followed these rules this morning, especially #5. How did I reward myself, I hear you ask. Why, I let myself come and play on CP, of course! :-D

I do the same, turn on, then Check Bank, Daily Telegraph, Wiki to see who has died, (No need today), then CP. Same thing every day! :)

There is help for "Digital Fiddling" ;) https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/1887[^] and other addons like that...

I won’t not use no double negatives.

My mind has just been overly active/creative lately, not distracted per se. Install WordPress, must edit PHP file, what, no syntax highlighting? Google PHP editor for Visual Studio, start reading a blog there, and on and on and on.
