Me, and the rest of my office, have been getting system tray warnings for over two weeks now. How could you not know this was coming?

Because they should give away non time limited copies in the months before they start to sell something ?

According to what I've read, starting July 1, the OS will shut down after 2 hours of use. It won't self-terminate just yet.

It only used to ask for activation which I hadn't done. Today I activated and Dang! this warning popped up. I was into Kubuntu in past few weeks.. may be that's why I escaped those early warnings. Cheers!

It's part of the Windows Time Foundation (WTF). Microsoft has finally gotten around to redefining time as it sees it.
