    when we were developing the site.. we were adding users that time we were getting usernames as /! now if we are adding we are getting it as simple only. how to remove the domain name from the already existing usrs?? Please some help me soon. Sudharshan

      You can change the display of Account property in User profiles in SSP. Regards Akhila

        I too have the same problem as the poster above and trust me when I tell you, the solution you posted is incorrect. Please post solutions that you know are true and or correct. Another way of changing the display is here at the link below but it doesnt apply to if you want a user's name to be displayed as their firstname and lastname. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/virtual-learning-platforms/25986-show-username-not-full-name-sharepoint.html
