The Jackson funeral

We got a new crop of movies from NetFlix today, so no actual TV until Friday night. By then, I hope the hoopla has died down so that Jackson can work in peace flipping burgers at Burger King, while Elvis handles the shakes and fries. I'm sure that Richard Petty will be joining them because Burger King is the only place that Kings can really get work after they fake their deaths.

Give the people what they want and they'll show up. I'm pretty annoyed with the media over the level of coverage. Fortunately I have a new book (a fantasy novel) and don't have to put up with it. Reminds me of the stories of Rudolph Valentino's funeral. Although not quite as extreme.

I don’t much care that they have turned the “memorial” into the opening show for a worldwide memorial tour. If people are willing to go, more power to the promoters. But I am ticked the family and promoters expect CA tax payers to pick up the multimillion $ tab for the security. Don't get me started on the mentality of all the "fans" of this singing and dancing pedophile. No he was never convicted, but only because he spent millions to get the victims to retract or change their stories. LA had approximately ten separate events they considered solid enough to take to a grand jury. Santa Barbara had a solid case that actually made it to court. All the cases fell apart because the victims either changed their story or simply disappeared.(The investigator MJ used was later convicted of fraud and witness intimidation in a separate case.)

This is what got me too. The State of California is nearly bankrupt. They are handing out IOU's for the first time since the Great Depression and LA is not far behind. This family of lunatic millionaires is sticking the city with a $4 million dollar bill for this circus. Are you $#!^!*@ me? It's really high time we put an end to this kind if thing.

What a revolutionary concept! I see this idea revolutionizing entire industries! Like, instead of buying CD's (outdated business model), you take the musicinas themselves to the store, and let them sing and play music, and people who like this band will show up and pay for hearing them! You might even sell some of these outdated CDs afterwards!

Well, that's just small talk. It's easy to agree for people that something is not the way it should be. But try to get them to agree on how much Michael, what anglle, what details, and the amount of cleavage shown by the reporter.
Don't attribute to stupidity what can be equally well explained by buerocracy.

Actually, what I meant by that was "Give them a celebrity funeral cause that's what they want."

I've heard talk of a Beatles reunion. And there's a few of the Doors wandering around loose.

This comment is actually about scale. Its like expecting a lake and getting the ocean. Small increments weren't what I was referring to.

You could have loads of seating in your store and a flat raised area at one end where the band could stand so that everyone in the store could see them. You know I think that idea of yours might just work.
