Being a Ronaldo fan (the real one, not the peacock currently on display in Madrid), I've been rooting for him to come back since he got injured last Feb 2008. Given that he just scored a hat trick[^] for the Corinthians, how has his fitness progressed? Has he been able to lose some of the weight? How does he look when he plays? I don't have cable, so I don't get to see any of his games, but I'm curious to know how he's been playing.

While I hate the guy, I must reckon he has some talent for playing football.
Oh, I don't hate him, he's an incredible player, I just prefer the original a bit more. I will be very curious to see how he integrates into the Real team, along with Kaka, Robben, and Raul.

Jim, I have to admit, I am astounded at how far and how quickly your 3D skills have progressed. The new male form 3D model you have on your project blog is very cool; at first glance, reminded me of Hell Raiser. I also really enjoy how you break everything up into individual steps, so folks like me, that have never touched that kind of stuff before, can get an idea of how it's done. Very cool stuff. D.

Bad Astronomy |VCF|wxWidgets|WTLAhh, that was actually not mine. That's a default male model that comes with ZBrush. I used it just to test going back and forth between ZBrush and Houdini. So the base shape is theirs, and I just mangled it a bit so I could have something to test applying normal maps in Houdini. However I'm pretty confident that I could do something like that now. I'm glad someone liked it! I actually did that for my own sake as well, in case I forget what the steps are.

IMO Kaka is will eat him like anything. Still, one of the pic in the newspapers show him very happy to join Real. That's not going to last for long. (Just what I want. I like him but I like Kaka more.) For Real, I loved the team when it had likes of Zidane, Ronaldo, Raul, Carlos and Figo. Now I don't care.
