No. I said I can't write improper english like, "hi wht r u doing?". I have usually started writing in passive voice and reduced use of active voices.

Why? The active voice is fantastic.

But you can still write useless things. I prefer useful info with wrong grammar & spelling than the contrary. (The best being useful info in correct grammar, but you find this as often as 100$ bills in the middle of the street). /* Increase i by 1 */ i++;

'Useful info' with incorrect grammar or spelling is suspect, in my opinion, thereby rendering it less useful.

Cue Abbot & Costello: What did you make nullable? Yes, 'what' is nullable. That's what I'm asking! Is 'what' nullable?!?...

Maybe so - but years of using computers has left me with appalling hand-writing. My niece is only 6, but her writing's much more legible than mine! My nephew (like me) is more comfortable with computers, and his writing's appalling as well - a connection there, me thinks.

Java, Basic, who cares - it's all a bunch of tree-hugging hippy cr*p

My hand writing was appalling long before I became a computer junky. :sigh:

I have an excuse; my daughter is a big fan of their stuff. I gave her a collection of their movies for her birthday a couple years ago. All we heard from her were giggles coming out of her room for a week :-D.

I believe it does. I have been programming for 10 years and now I believe I can't write sentences without specific phrases. I can't write improper sentences. My hands stuck, keyboard refuses and cries out. Do you feel that too?

I've not noticed anything happening to my grammar, but my handwriting has suffered. It looks like a drunken spider has wandered across the page

I have on many occasions when discribing situations or a process to another to solve an issue, I will "speak" in lines of code. most are amused and get what needs to be done quite quickly ^^ Almost like I'm programming a ruetine on a person.

Which "specific phrases" can't you write without? Repetition is something one ought to avoid.
