David, Thanks for your response. But Atlanta is definitely a great place for geeks. I'm not promising but let me talk to friends and see what best I can do to have Code Project conference. I'm really interested in meeting you guys and I'm a big fan of Codeproject. Siva

Great! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I did a quick check on Expedia and I see that it's about $100 for a shuttle flight to Raleigh. Might be an option too. D

Hi Siva, Seeing as TechEd is in Atlanta this year, we thought it would be a bad idea to hold a date there. I suppose 20-30 people would provide enough of a group for us to formalize the date, and then we could build from there. We're expecting some important names on the roster for these sessions, and so we have to have enough people at a date to make it worthwhile for everyone. HTH, David

I don't know if there's a fixed number, but it would be pretty expensive to cover the flights and hotels for everyone, so I'd expect we'd have to get a decent group, probably 70-100. I'd love to do it, but there are a lot of schedules to coordinate. Chris is going to have a fit when he sees this thread :) D

If we could drag some MS guys down here to do their thing then that would be way coo. Still - I'm not adverse to an informal CodeProject 'Beta 2 and Beer' get together in Sydney or Melbourne where I could attempt to fill you guys in on what's the latest gossip in exchange for a pint. Would be cool to catch up with you guys. cheers, Chris Maunder
