    Any one witnessed the longest solar eclipse of the century? According to NASA, it lasted over 6 minutes over Pacific Ocean. That must be amazing.

      No, didn't witness that one but we had one here last night which lasted 7 hours! Unfortunately, I slept through most of it...

        Nope. I did winess the last solar eclipse of the previous century (August 11th 1999). It was awsome, simply unreal.

          I remember an eclipse in the early 90s in Montreal; it was somewhat short, but one thing that amazed me the most was the sudden drop in temperature. I can just imagine how fast the temperature would drop if the sun just shut down.

          This signature was proudly tested on animals.

            i have experienced the last solar eclipse it was amezziinnggggg..... :omg: really....but due to cloudy sky this time i missed solar eclipse

              That only happens just before it explodes, so at least you won't be cold for long :)
