Why Java Sucks today [modified]
-
Why oh why does Java need to create so many threads for a program? I've got a running server program that only spawns 2 or 3 threads programmatically (at least from my code) but looking at the process with ProcessExplorer (which totally rocks by the way) it has over 200+ threads spawned in various states. Sigh. Who writes stuff like this?

That's a truly frightening thought.

Uh, Sun. I find Microsoft tends to keep their thread counts relatively low.

You know what they say... the bigger the thread ... the bigger the process. How big is your thread? lol ;)
