Hi, I have a problem that my computer running windows xp pro sp3 is missing the LAN connection. I also check the device manager and didn't found the driver of the LAN. I didn't do anything to my system such as configure CMOS or uninstall the device driver from the device manager. Does anyone has any problem with the above mention issue? Is it cause by the virus or by the hardware? Thank in advance!!!

Yes, I try to re-install the driver. It is working on the next day. I don't know what is the cause of the problem. Thank for your idea

During the time that I have that problem, I could not ping to anything. When I checked the device manager, I didn't see any device driver of NIC. I try to scan it but nothing happend. But now it is fine. I still don't know what happend to my system. Thank you for your comment.
