                Yes, based on my past experience I think you are right. But I think it might be possible that it will be released at 12 PM EST.

                  Yes, at present. Therefore one should write 14:00 EDT rather than 14:00 EST. :)

                    !Pedant alert! EST is always 5 hours behind GMT. However the east coast of the US is currently observing EDT, which is only 4 hours behind.

                        Hoisted by your own petard! I am amazed that pretty much every email I get from London says "by so-and-so GMT" when they really mean BST. Maybe subconsciously they hate Summer Time.
