4 millions of those owning an iphone have installed a hack that allows them to buy and use apps rejected by apple: http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/08/cydia-app-store/[^] So when will the OSF release a "free" iphone?

I'm one of them, and it's great to see some of the true capabilities of the device. i.e. the iPhone 3G can have a decent video recorder, and it's on my iPhone right now. I don't need to shell out for a 3GS to get video recording because Apple says so. Fact is we shouldn't have to jump through these hoops to get it like this, which is why I'm voting with my wallet and moving to Android asap.

How easy is it to restore a bricked iPhone? I've been wanting to jailbreak mine but haven't really looked at restoring bricked iPhone.
