...more like, it seems so common sense to you to *not* do it that way!!! Like, 1. People touching your PC monitor (to point out something) and thus leaving a finger print there 2. Opening a glass door by actually pushing on the glass part instead of using the handle again leaving prints of all the fingers and even the palm!!!

Ohh I can't stand that. My gf does it all the time and she really bangs it. I keep thinking she'll put her finger through it one of these days!

I dislike people leaving fingerprints but "loathe" is a bit strong, I hoard my loathing for things that really deserve it.

Arrghh! I *hate* the paw-mark smearing on monitor thing. Luckily we've got people who avoid touching the screen with their fingers by using a biro, leaving greasy ink splots dotted around. Bar-Stewards!!!

English drivers who lose all ability to drive the moment there's a splash of rain. I mean, ffs, it's not like this place is like the Mojave desert for 350 days a year and then surprises us with a quick shower every now and then.

How I wish I could terminate their entire species!!! But seriously they have a marvellous knack of adapting to pesticides (and even at escaping from my clutches ;P )

my HTC hero has a near permanent cross shaped smudge on the screen. It polishes off reasonably quickly when required though

I have a touchscreen monitor, so this one can be quite interesting!

Thats the problem I found on my G1 when using the touch sequence thing to unlock the phone, if you look at it in the right light you can see exactly what the sequence is by following the smudges haha.

Android's open source. Patch it so the unlocking input has a randomized layout.

It happens here in Washington State as well. It rains here almost as much as in your neck of the woods, yet people get lemming fever at the slightest spot of rain... Give us a week without rain and we lose all ability to cope. ;P Flynn
