We are running MOSS on Win2008 EE x64. The problem is that we cannot add any new AD users from within the site or central admin. We get a "No exact match was found" message in people picker. The site and new users are on the same domain. However, we can add these users using stsadm. Another very similar sharepoint test site located in the same domain has no problem doing this.

A couple of things. Are you able to do a full AD import from the SSP? If so look up the users within the SSP for the properties of the profile. You may need to create a new SSP do a full import then move web apps over.

      Regards, Hulicat
