Yep...Really nice for a darn 'good' day like this. Just wasted 3-4 hours of configuring a database when an idiot restored a backup over it... without making a backup of the original. O...happy times.

Anyone got any suggestions of music to listen to, to cure my bad mood? Currently listening to a bit of White Zombie (Electric Head Part 1) which I haven't heard in ages. Anything metalish would be good, the angrier the better! I'm too pissed off to think of anything original at them moment :sigh:

I've been listening to Rammstein for the last couple weeks. I'm wondering if I would still like it if I spoke German? I hate when a good song is ruined by bad lyrics. Most Limp Bizkit songs comp to mind. [Edit] Godsmack is another band I like. The older Korn is pretty good too. [\Edit]

Come on, how can you leave out Barbra Streisand from a list like that?

Thankfully, I've never had the misfortune of listening to her!

IMHO it's better when you understand them. Their lyrics is fairly intelligent (for being lyrics) and use a lot of wordplay.

Limp Bizkit songs have lyrics? Just kidding - never really listened to them to be honest. Always struck me as a bit 'commercial' if you know what I mean.

I guess that's something that only German speakers can truly understand I guess? I thought there were words in German that are spelt and pronounced the same, but have totally different meanings? I know we have the same in English, but I thought that in German was much more pronounced. I have an English translation of some Franz Kafka stories sitting at home, really must read it - but I've been told the English version will never be as good as the German equivalent. :)

The ultimate for me is "Killing in the name of" by Rage against the machine. You can crank it and sing along with the lyric "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me". It's very therapeutic.
