    doesn't bother me. maybe they're going after the geriatric crowd.

      Maybe. I just wish web pages (and the humans behind them) would trust my browser settings and quit trying to do their own thing.

        I wish the ms office team would trust the windows settings / UI and quit trying to do their own thing.

          It would look nicer with a background picture of hot air balloons floating over a green meadow. :)

                It's probably the Bing-effect. Google wants to announce loud and clear that they are bigger than Bing, even when it comes to font size. :rolleyes:
