No. AJAX is just a particular use of javascript. I am not sure but there are a few a hacks available with GreaseMonkey for FireFox, but in general the answer is NO.

YEs exactly if htere is no javascript . there is no ajax.. in the common terms.

No, javascript is mandatory for AJAX and must be enabled on browser.
