Terrible dilema

If you can, DVR the game and go watch your daughter play soccer. :) If not, skip the game and go watch your daughter play soccer. You can always catch the hightlights of the college game on ESPN or the NFL Channel (assuming you get either channel, heh). :-\ Flynn
:laugh: Of course I'll go see my daughter play... what does make me laugh though is the realization that, in this one instance (my favorite team playing) that I had to stop to think about it.

watch your team while attending the soccer game; they invented portable TVs, laptops with DVB-T, GSMs, iPhones, etc for this very reason. And bring your headset. :)

This really is a no-brainer. Arrange for daughter to break a small bone (5th metatarsal, seems popular amongst soccer players), she can't play, you get to watch your team. :) Seriously though, no decision needed. Daughter comes first.

Is there any way you can watch your team on TV [edit: it's unanimous now], i.e. phone or laptop, while you watch your daughter play live? :suss: We had a radio competition here a while ago: who had the worst wedding change/effect/excuse because they'd rather be watching rugby. Some real winners called in. :laugh:

I like to consider myself a good dad and all, but really, how many soccer games is your daughter going to have? I bet i can re-cap it for you right now: One team is going to score One team is going to score One team is going to score The other team scores One team is going to score One team is going to score The other team scores One team is going to score Now you know your daughter's team better than I, so you'll have to decide what team she's on. But really, at age 7, you're just getting started with child sports. As your kid(s) get older, you'll notice that fewer parents show up, then you'll notice kids getting dropped off, then you'll notice kids riding their bikes to the game. Don't get me wrong. Spend as much time as you can with your kids. Encourage them and support them in what they do. But if the Vikings are on TV, you can guess what I'll be doing.
