Just installed Windows7 couple of days ago. Everything seems good and even VS2008 got installed in less than 20 minutes (which takes more than half an hour on XP). but the only problem is that sometimes Alt+F4 does not bring the Shutdown dialog box. Tried several times but it seems if you have a focus on taskbar then Alt+F4 will pop up the shutdown dialog else it wont. Not sure whether it is only me experiencing this trouble or not?

Alt-F4 closes the active window, so it makes sense that it only shuts down the computer if the taskbar has focus (although I would say that a Log off rather than Shutdown would be even more logical)

There a several quirks that I've run across that I hope they fix in the final release the one that bugs me most is when you right click on My Computer and select Manage it does nothing?? It worked until a few updates ago and then mysteriously quit working?? Mike

Just tried it here and it works fine! Maybe my system is lagging behind the US in updates?

Just tried mine and it still doesn't bring up manager. Maybe it'll come back in an update as mysteriously as it disappeared. Bwaaahaaahaaa Mike
