        It's a joke - it really doesn't need analysing for it's factual accuracy :|

That article seems to imply that fish use electrolysis to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, and then use that oxygen. No, wait, actually it's even worse: "The gills extract life-sustaining oxygen from the hydrogen in the water molecules". Hm.. I would be highly surprised if that were the case.

So fish have found a way to extract a heavier element from a lighter one thereby, presumably, creating matter? I wonder if I can create some kind of perpetual motion machine from a fish.

Don't be ridicules, if that was the case scientist would already be aware of that groundbreaking discovery. Everybody knows that fish simply use plain-old cold fusion to produce oxygen from hydrogen.

I think they suffocate rather than drown.

If you say they drowned, they drowned, so 56 is the correct answer. On the other hand... "There are five apples. You take two away. How many apples do you have?"

Depends on who legally owned the five apples in the first place. If I take away two of my own five apples I don't automatically relinquish ownership of the three I left behind. If on the other hand I didn't own the apples in the first place, and I took two without permission then technically thats theft. An act of theft doesn't legally transfer ownership, I'm simply in possession of stolen property until the police catch up with me. (If you hadn't guessed I'm having a slow day at work)
