Last client I worked at where naming was democratic, we named all four local servers after female porn stars. Even the one female director loved this. I still fondly (:suss:) remember our dev server, later to become the porn server, being named Jenna. :)

The network admin was named Ron?

I always thought that “Konjunktivit” is a great server name.

Choronzon. I dare you. After that, Erisia, my domain, but hey, in hounor of Eris, I'll suggest a sister server wherever you are with the same name as mine. BYW, Eris is irresistible, especially manifest in modern interpretations.

As boring as it may seem, our servers are named for the 3 character site name, 'SNT' for server - NT based, and then the next available 3 digit number. Retired server names are put back in the hat for later use. xxxSNT037, xxxSNT050, etc... Tim

"The$50,000Box'O'Garbage". I wouldn't trust a Dell as far as I could throw it. THe last Dell server I unboxed required a replace RAID controller, power supply, and motherboard, all the in the first 3 days it was powered up.

                    Trurl?

Personally, I love the idea that Raymond spends his nights posting bad regexs to mailing lists under the pseudonym of Jane Smith. He'd be like a super hero, only more nerdy and less useful. [Trevel]

I rank this one right above the last client suggestion: "TheBlackBox"--not joking.
