This has been driving me insane. I've used the settings transfer described in my below posts a lot, but each time I keep moving one annoying peice of data I can't seem to rid myself of. I had the unfortunate problem of accidentally transfering the registered user company string of "Fujitsu PC Corporation" from my now-sold laptop onto all of my computers through this wizard, when of course my real company name should be "MadHamster Creations." I've searched and searched for how to change one's registered company name in the Office programs, all to no avail. Weirdly enough, in the About Boxes they are registered to MadHamster Creations, but in the startup splash screens they're stuck on Fujitsu PC Corporation. I've even gone as far as searching all my registry keys and the entire contents of my harddisk for the string "Fujitsu PC Corporation," turning up nothing. So here's my question: where is that damned setting? Anyone found it? It's driving me up the wall...

I'm sure you've searched, but have you tried this: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q233499& - John

Actually I hadn't seen that before, thank you; but unfortunately it didn't work. :((
