HARDIN - Officials from American Police Force, a California security company working to lock down a contract with Two Rivers Authority to fill and operate Hardin's new but empty jail, provided more details Saturday of how the finished facility will look and operate. At a Saturday morning press conference, Becky Shay, APF's new public-relations director, said the company hopes to build a 30,000-square-foot military-style training facility northeast of the jail and a 75,000-square-foot dormitory for the trainees to the southeast, all on a 50-acre plot of land. She said the buildings would be paid for by APF's "business activities," including security and training, weapons and equipment sales, surveillance and investigations, and are projected to cost $17 million to build and $6 million to equip. There is also room to expand the jail, if needed. http://billingsgazette.com/news/state-and-regional/montana/article_ee552180-aac1-11de-b6ed-001cc4c03286.html[^] Details about the private company that runs it is in there too.

Montana has a very high concentration of land owners and very independent nature loving people. Many can comfortably live on their own without the need for big cities and corporations. I'm sorry, there's no intelligent response to your fairy tale paranoid drivel. It is not worth the effort, no matter how often we prove your view point to be beyond retarded and baseless, it doesn't even slow you down.

Don't put yourself down into the same category as occupied by Joshua Henize. You are a lot better than that. FEMA is the "Federal Emergency Management Agency". What they do is stated here http://www.fema.gov/[^]. They are an agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security, initially created by Presidential Order on April 1, 1979.[1][3] The primary purpose of FEMA is to coordinate the response to a disaster that has occurred in the United States and that overwhelms the resources of local and state authorities.

Seriously, what could one possibly say in response to this paranoid drivel ? How can one prove that your future prophecies will not come true ? I can't. And when they don't, you'll probably say that they wanted to but websites like the one you linked to, stopped them. That's the brilliance of your paranoid delusions, they are self fulfilling. When you discuss facts, like your views on the Fed, pretty much everyone here owns you. That's a whole other deal.

So: It is not a camp run by FEMA; It cannot hold tens of thousands of prisoners; It is not run by foreign contractors and military. 0 out of 3. I am following the prison saga with interest, I love the sheer incompetence displayed by the City Fathers. Thanks for bringing Hardin MT to my attention.

But I did chuckle when this American Police Force apparently rolled up in town in their SUV's decked out with Police regalia etc and was told to remove all traces of this regalia. But the local newspaper can't make its mind up if there is 464 or 646 beds. Custer would have been disappointed and Chief Sitting Bull not particularly amused with what they are proposing.

Whats the difference between a FEMA camp and a prison? None. This is a brand new massive facility to hold tens of thousands of people run by foreign contractors and military.

Read: Separatist militias. Many of whom have become remarkably annoyed that the apocalypse didn't happen in 2000 and the government has yet to come and start their war. Mind you, these are all things I've been aware of since long before 9/11, homeland security, or 'domestic terrorists' as a generally used word.

FEMA is a favorite target of conspiracy theorists because they're given an unusual amount of authority and autonomy over an area when a state of emergency is declared. Apparently this means they must be trying to take over the world, because obviously there's no other reason why they would need to be able to act quickly and free of red tape during a massive emergency.

*grin* I was just kidding around. Actually, I am sure that Montana is lovely. I was just looking to make a comment on how US prisons are over crowded because they lock up anyone who has ever touched a joint.

For hunting and fishing and hiking and all that, sure, Montana, Western Alberta/Easter British Columbia, Washington State, they're all brilliant like that. But really, you'd need a steady supply of hard drugs to live there...

FEMA is a favorite target of conspiracy theorists because they're given an unusual amount of authority and autonomy over an area when a state of emergency is declared. Apparently this means they must be trying to take over the world, because obviously there's no other reason why they would need to be able to act quickly and free of red tape during a massive emergency.

if you watch most films, tv series etc these days you would believe that every US government agency is totally sinister, and managed by foreign agents.

You might, but I don't. I don't NEED the drugs, I just use them to enhance the experience.

FEMA can use anything as a 'gathering area' or camp. A sports dome or a school can be used when they want to use it, they can take over anything.
