Sorry to use this forum, but I have never in my life been screwed like I just have by Discovery Invest. 7 to 10 working days until we pay, 6 freaking working days since I confirmed, today they say, your form wasnt legible enough. I will kill somebody today.

You know what they say. A man who serves as his own lawyer has a fool for a client.

Says anecdotal evidence. Every case I've heard of (excluding things like small claims court that you can't use a lawyer) has consisted of an idiot who is lawyerless because he either refuses to behave/try and defend himself in a way that wouldn't get a real lawyer fined for making a mockery of the courts, or because his lawsuit is so idiotic that no lawyer is willing to take it on a contingency basis. From the other direction, excepting the farcical conditions above, anytime a real lawyer, who does know what he's doing, gets in legal trouble he hires a colleague to present his case instead of doing it for himself.

Same is the case with the MDs or surgeons if their family member needs from some serious treatment. The involvement/emotions kill the professionalism. I forgot the joke icon in my previous post.

I couldn't agree less. It's like the obvious 'h' word.
