Obama got Nobel Peace Prize

MMmh... While I reckon he made a few good speeches, what did he actually achieve in 9 months to deserve a Nobel Prize ? Sounds a bit too ... soon for me. Link[^]

he got only because he's black and the first black US president. he certainly hasn't earned it. I mean seriously, after Arafat and Quadafi both got it I lost all respect for the nobel prize, especially since Arafat was given it over Mother Teresa. Give me a break.

Please enumerate the conflicts along with the associated thug leader/opposition group that is supposed to go gah-gah over this empty suit.
It's not about the leaders.
Personally, I love the idea that Raymond spends his nights posting bad regexs to mailing lists under the pseudonym of Jane Smith. He'd be like a super hero, only more nerdy and less useful. [Trevel]

Yes, sir, it is. These people certainly think so http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuI_e_voVEw. If you need a lesson on what recently happened in that part of the world: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2009/06/29/charles_krauthammer_on_honduras_obama_is_wrong.html

Good example - it's about the people in these streets. I don't expect Obama to change the Honduran military's mind. But he's already given a few people the idea that not every leader in this world has to be a saber-rattling crazy control freak afraid of his own people. Krauthammer is hard to understand for me, and all I know about Zelaya Rosales and Micheletti is that one was elected, the other gained his seat by force. As I understand, Obama called the coup illegal, and you think he shouldn't have?

This world is run by the use of force. This is not pretty, but un-deniable fact.

If this is the case, then read the transcript. I, myself, do this all the time with google and dictionary in-hand (online). He has it exactly right.

Again, Krauthammer tells it very succinctly. Just pay closer attention.

This is what boggles the mind of freedom loving people. You have to be honest here and realize that the constitution is where the rule of law begins. This is why the coup was neccessary.
