The big difference is that Alex's films shift perspectives. A stupid kid acting stupid does nothing but entertain for a couple of minutes. A documentary educates and enlightens. A documentary has a real impact.

No no no... I write the software that monitors the portfolios that enables the traders to move the money. If you're going to try to insult me, notice that I'm four steps away from anything that could be considered "evil," even by your definitions. :) And since I work for the financial industry, wouldn't the stereotype require that I vote for the Republican candidate? I think you would have used exactly the same argument if I said anything except "Ron Paul" in my previous post.

And if I click on the link in your signature, glance through it as I did (See my other post below), gain absolutely nothing from it, and think it's a load of garbage... ...that still increments the number of views.

Why thank you! It's nice to be thought important enough to be worth hating. Wow... If I knew writing database manipulation software could elevate me to this kind of fame, I'd have been doing it my whole career-- Err, wait, I have been. Granted, your whole argument revolves around your opinion that the stock market is evil. An opinion which I don't share. I think of the stock market as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and every native american casino combined. Spin the wheel and test your luck. In a casino, the house always wins... In the market, the companies always beat the individuals... Same thing, different image. If I was writing software to manage personnel at a casino in Las Vegas, would I still be "the devil's minion"? How about if I wrote their security system? What if I helped to write one of those video poker games?

Yes, I just did that so it's now up to 194,619; looks like it's sweeping the world as people realise ... that it's actually a load of total bollocks. A three minute clip of some dramatic music, some bits of news taken out of context, some scenes of US landmarks, all adding up to nothing.

There is a difference in the nature of the content between this and an Uncle Alex video, but there is no difference in the quality of the content.

Unless that documentary misrepresents the truth. Which is what Uncle Alex 'documentaries' constantly do.

The fact that the party that was established 60 years ago by Mao, is the party that is still in power. During National Day parades, Mao's portraits are displayed high and proud in the same way George Washington is on the 4th of July. Pic[^] You can google for more information.

Elitist: The belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources. Were I Elitist, I could not be Marxist. Opinionated: Holding stubbornly and often unreasonably to one's own opinions. I think you'll find the guy you are addressing in the bathroom mirror. Go look. Snob: One who tends to patronize, rebuff, or ignore people regarded as social inferiors and imitate, admire, or seek association with people regarded as social superiors. Do you feel patronized, rebuffed? Well, let me assure you that it has nothing to do with your social inferiority. Instantly dismisses Hardly. I had to trace every quote and every video clip in your posts back to the original, unedited, source. And I found that each has been removed from its context and edited of its original meaning. That is lying. I dismiss lies. doesn't fit your marxist ideals      My observation is that capitalism and the free market has provided a greater benefit to society than any other 'ism'. Consequently, that is what I support. Marxist: An adherent of the political and economic philosophy of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in which the concept of class struggle plays a central role in understanding society's allegedly inevitable development from bourgeois oppression under capitalism to a socialist and ultimately classless society. Were I Marxist, I could not be Elitist.
