Really? I have no idea what religion the majority of people on this forum follow, if any, since very few of them reveal it. So I'd be interested to know where your 'common knowledge' comes from.

Actually, I have tried hard to talk to him in the past, and have even offered to pay for a psychiatric evaluation session. I've done my best to try to help him. However, he's made clear he will NEVER set foot in such a place, I guess on some level, he knows what the diagnosis is. So if I can't get him help, I can at least try to keep proving that he is incapable of defending his views. I know sometimes I respond in anger, I never claimed to be perfect. And if I didn't work from home, I doubt I'd be bored enough to bother. But, at the core, I honestly have posted to him mostly because I feel sorry for him, and because I hoped I could help. It's jut devolved from there.

You try hard to sell me the idea of eugenics and then deny that you are a eugenicist because of some insignificant trivialization.

Its like that guy here a couple years back that tried to convince me that 1+1 in its most basic form does not = 2. I'm not that stupid, and I don't have all day to play stupid pointless mind games with you. Get a life, you are a sad individual to have to attempt to play with people's minds on the internet. You are a sociopath.

I'm sick of you. You will no longer get ANY reply from me EVER. Sociopathic eugenicists needs to be locked away forever. Mark my words, you have been nullified. Don't ever post my city and state again, or you might find that your "imagined to be private" information is in reality, not so private.

Do they actually follow those religions, or are you just guessing based on their names? If the latter, tsk tsk... I don't presume to guess what faith those guys follow, if any, but remember that us atheists are all over the place, and we have all sorts of names, some of which might surprise you.

Christian is pretty open about his philosophy and his involvement with his church. (Now that my feeble pretense of speaking generally has been dispensed with... ;) ) It's no secret. Really. Nothing sinister implied.

I *always* try to have a rational discussion, he's the one who starts with the cursing, look at Dave's post below this one, he links to where he stepped in and made a valid point and CSS cursed him out, precisely because he had no rational response. He is plainly wrapped in conspiracy theories, but I think he is also plainly mentally ill. I mean, how could he not be ? He is at a minimum delusional, he's said he spends all his time alone, he is by any definition incapable of interacting with society.

Actually no. I have also tried to engage with him in the past, but it always comes down to this. As the 'argument' starts to go against him he lashes out with these sorts of insults and then wonders why people bait him even further. Am I being harsh? Perhaps; but I would happily be proved wrong in my opinions by a reasoned argument. Calling someone a sociopath, or any other name, does not prove that your argument is unassailable.

Still not sure if you're lying or just delusional.

EXTREMELY unlikely, given that all you've ever said about it shows you're terrified of it.
CaptainSeeSharp wrote:

This is your excuse, every time you get to a point where you can't answer the points I raise in regard to your posts. We reach that point faster and faster, it seems. This is called delusion. You're convinced that you have all the answers, but it's beneath you to provide them. No, you are lost.

As I said, this is a defense mechanism, which you use to hide from your inability to defend your views. It fools no-one.

1 - anyone who wants to search CP can find these details, you posted them here 2 - when you got all upset that I repeated something you told us freely, I told you that, first of all, I'm happy to share the level of detail I shared about you. The only difference is, I am not too scared to use my real name. you can find my address with a phone book, given the state I live in, which is in my bio. Secondly, once you told me you didn't like me telling people what you'd already told us, I said I was happy not to do it again. Third, what are you so scared of ? You think someone you've attacked online might find out what a pussy you are in real life ?

I wasn't sure of his motives; to me it appears to be simply messing with the guy for cheap thrills. And if the guy really is impaired, I'd think it was questionable morally. I used the example of a church becuase I knew it was specifically appropriate in this instance and wanted to call attention to the philosophical incongruity. I wouldn't think it was that hard to work out.
LunaticFringe wrote:

It's not. Instead of addressing his behavior and his motives you chose to address his religion. Just like Dave in the other thread, the point could have been made without belittling, or questioning his adherence to, his religion. Like I told Dave in the other thread, I agree with your point, I just didn't see the need to throw in the other junk.

Mustafa is on the record here as being a Muslim abeit a Western raised moderate one. Christian is a follower of the one "true" Christiann sect. Just ask him. He even excludes Catholics as Christians. It's well documented here, also.

Good question. In my experience, the answer is no. Of course, I haven't been in all churches. I take it you think that Christian is acting inconsistantly with how *you* think a Christian ought to act? I only single Christian out because Muslims don't go to a thing called a church.

This won't touch on the content of his posts. A number of people here have repeatedly stated that they think CSS has genuine psychological problems. The people making this observation seem serious about it. And then the same people relentlessly goad and bait the guy. Troll-baiting is one thing, but if you genuinely believe the guy to be struggling to maintain his grip, what the hell are you doing increasing his level of stress? And it seems even more inconsistent that the main instigators are supposedly religious individuals. I suppose this is the sort of behavior one learns in church?
His only psychological problem is idiocy.

Naaa, hypocrisy comes naturally to human beings; it's rigorous honesty that has to be learned.
