I *always* try to have a rational discussion, he's the one who starts with the cursing, look at Dave's post below this one, he links to where he stepped in and made a valid point and CSS cursed him out, precisely because he had no rational response. He is plainly wrapped in conspiracy theories, but I think he is also plainly mentally ill. I mean, how could he not be ? He is at a minimum delusional, he's said he spends all his time alone, he is by any definition incapable of interacting with society.

Actually no. I have also tried to engage with him in the past, but it always comes down to this. As the 'argument' starts to go against him he lashes out with these sorts of insults and then wonders why people bait him even further. Am I being harsh? Perhaps; but I would happily be proved wrong in my opinions by a reasoned argument. Calling someone a sociopath, or any other name, does not prove that your argument is unassailable.

I wasn't sure of his motives; to me it appears to be simply messing with the guy for cheap thrills. And if the guy really is impaired, I'd think it was questionable morally. I used the example of a church becuase I knew it was specifically appropriate in this instance and wanted to call attention to the philosophical incongruity. I wouldn't think it was that hard to work out.

The people making this observation seem serious about it. And then the same people relentlessly goad and bait the guy. Troll-baiting is one thing, but if you genuinely believe the guy to be struggling to maintain his grip, what the hell are you doing increasing his level of stress? And it seems even more inconsistent that the main instigators are supposedly religious individuals. I suppose this is the sort of behavior one learns in church?
