    Hi to All, Sorry if it is a basic question......... Since I am a new learner to ASP.NET..I am not able find the exact differrence in terms of functionality with server control client control html server control web server controls I want to know, when to use what....Please clarify me. If Possible , practical scenario and examples would be great.... Thanks in advance

      In fact, there is no definition, the terms you're using make no sense. All controls render on the client, although perhaps it means ASP.NET controls vs pure HTML controls ? I guarentee you there is no such thing as a HTML server control or web server control. Someone is pulling your leg. Buy a book. If you have half a clue what words like server, client and HTML mean, then you won't be the butt of any practical jokes.
