Ya know, if this wasn't just a glitch on their webpage, it would be ten times as funny. I can see it now... Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) Ubuntu 2009 Home Premium Express (Maniacal Microsoft)

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in? Developer, Author (Guardians of Xen)

To keep the alliteration consistent, wouldn't that be (Unceasing Update)?

Puzzling why a company would ship 8.04, when 9.10 is the current version.

It's a special one for the open-source crowd who keep typoing the U and I anyway.

That's because open-sourcers rarely know much about UI. ;) (Kidding... it had to be said. It was too easy.)

Because it's 8.04 LTS where LTS stands for Long Term Support. To quote from the Ubuntu site "With the Long Term Support (LTS) version you get three years support on the desktop, and five years on the server. There is no extra fee for the LTS version, we make our very best work available to everyone on the same free terms. Upgrades to new versions of Ubuntu are and always will be free of charge." http://www.ubuntu.com/products/WhatIsUbuntu
