Create a vaccine. Give it to a whole lot of people. Put on a tin hat and try to find anyone who got sick after their shot. Blame the shot. Sell videos. Make money off stupid people. At least the people you're linking have a business plan.

Right, so the three days out of work coughing up copious amounts of phlegm was just a hallucination? How about addressing the issues instead of making up excuses? Or are you admitting that the vaccine does much more good than harm?

Is that how yours manifested? Makes me wonder if I had it earlier in the fall. I had about a week there where I was coughing up large amounts of phlegm all day long, but they said I didn't have the flu (I didn't have a fever, but then, I rarely do). Were you sore all over too?

Don't remember much other than coughing so hard that my throat hurt... That kind of eclipsed everything else. I'm pretty sure I had a fever for at least part of it (Don't own a thermometer, but cold sweats are usually a giveaway)... Normally, the only times I ever get sick are when the flu comes around... Knocks me out for a day, and I'm back in the game... This one was definitely worse than the average flu, but entirely survivable... Been a long time since I've been out of commission for three straight days. Can't even remember the last time.

I had the chills too, and the sore throat. And I usually don't get very sick either, but this one put me down for three or four days (plus another week or so of feeling too crappy to do anything fun, but not crappy enough to skip work). I probably should have gone to the doctor, but as I do have some allergies, I figured it was probably one of them acting up coupled with fatigue. I don't guess there's any way they can test and see if you've had the flu, is there? Other than the blatantly obvious and dangerous way.

Not sure... I have no allergies and no underlying conditions, so I don't think it could have been anything else. I take the subway to work every day, so plenty of opportunities to catch it.

CSS, I'm not responding to you until you actually address the points I mentioned earlier in the thread. You'll just try to redirect this to more of your ridiculous scare tactics.

Just to throw myself in here, had it, was out of work for 4 days. It sucked. No vaccine has ever done to me what that did, maybe a little off for a day at the worst. It's a matter of a trade off, and the minor risks associated with the vax has nothing on staring at your ceiling for 5 days because you don't have the energy to do much of anything else.
