Hi, Check out all the conditions you need to work in Belgium here[^] You don't specify if you're a member of the EU, so mayby you will need a working permit/visa. Anyway here are some sites you can look for a job: http://www.cronos.be/jobs.asp[^] http://www.compfutures.be/cgi-bin/php.cgi/be/en/index.php[^] http://www.it.jobserve.com/jobserve/homepage.asp[^] I officially live in (freezing) Belgium but I'm doing a project in Curacao - Netherlands Antilles and I can only say that it's nice to work abroad for a few months. But that's because the beach with palmtrees is only 3 minutes from home and it's always 33 degrees Celsius ;) Good luck wih your jobhunt Wim

And you will realize how even a rock can change the world, simply by remaining obstinately stationary.-Shog9

a pleasure. From a backpacking point of view you may also want to check out [Clickety] - don't be put off by the SA/NZ/Auz stuff - it applies to any young traveller :-D

If you would like to check out your chances for working in England check out www.gojobsite.co.uk www.jobs.co.uk www.cwjobs.co.uk (Computer Weekly's site) There are literally hundreds of dev jobs listed on each of these each day. When you see the amount you will struggle to believe that getting jobs in IT is hard at the moment - the problem is there are even more people applying for these jobs. You can email the agencies, but don't feel bad if you don't get a reply. I found the best way to look for a position in the UK is to come here, then use these sites. Email your cv for the particular position, wait 20 minutes, then phone the person concerned. If you don't bring attention to your cv like that yours will just be part of a sea of emailed cv's sitting in their inbox. Another great thing about those sites - you will get some idea of what your skills are worth here. HTH :)
