To be fair, there isn't anything aside from typical politics disclosed in the emails. Effectively the most incriminating thing in there is something that's been bothering them for a while, pretty much why we aren't completely screwed already. Be thankful they aren't completely right, and either sit down and shut up while they figure it out or at the very least do something useful. Running around screaming this proves they're fake doesn't accomplish anything but making yourself look like an idiot.

From the UEA It is a matter of concern that data, including personal information about individuals, appears to have been illegally taken from the university and elements published selectively on a number of websites. The volume of material published and its piecemeal nature makes it impossible to confirm what proportion is genuine. We took immediate action to remove the server in question from operation and have involved the police in what we consider to be a criminal investigation. The material published relates to the work of our globally-respected Climatic Research Unit (CRU) and other scientists around the world. CRU's published research is, and has always been, fully peer-reviewed by the relevant journals, and is one strand of research underpinning the strong consensus that human activity is affecting the world's climate in ways that are potentially dangerous. CRU is one of a number of independent centres working in this important area and reaching similar conclusions. It will continue to engage fully in reasoned debate on its findings with individuals and groups that are willing to have their research and theories subjected to scrutiny by the international scientific community. The selective publication of some stolen emails and other papers taken out of context is mischievous and cannot be considered a genuine attempt to engage with this issue in a responsible way. [^]. So it is a wait and see, but, for the furtherance of conspiracy, it is better to jump to conclusions isn't it ?

I point out that political crap occurs without going all to terribly in depth in to if I actually believe these guys are right or not, point out they haven't been entirely correct, and merely mention you're an idiot who thinks far to much of himself, and I'm the drooling believer? Climate changes, that we know. What we need to know is how much of an impact we're having on it. For all we know it could be the same climate shifting which occurred before man climbed out of the trees stopping us from having our own large ball of dust in the near future. Points are, Climate changes, we put out a lot of gases which cause significant alterations in heat retention, and yet we aren't screwed yet. If I had seen a solid model for it, I may be entirely convinced that we're the problem, but the facts point out that we really should be a problem, likely a major one. Either we need to figure out why we aren't or we need to fix the problem we're causing before it bites us. But hey, let's romp on politics and a divide by zero error(and no, I won't explain it to you, if you had a clue you'd know what I was talking about) rather than the actual facts at hand.
