R.I.P. Robert Holdstock 1948-2009

I heard today of the death of Robert Holdstock from an e-coli infection. He was only 61 and was still writing. He was one of the first adult fantasy writers to use a modern day setting and his best known works were the Mythago Woods series. He wrote science fiction as well as fantasy, much of it under other names early in his career. His short novel "The Dark Wheel" was included with the computer game Elite, and he used to joke about it being his most widely read work. Obit[^]
Jon God wrote the Universe in C, thus explaining the great amount of disagreement over how to interpret the documentation. Soap Box 1.0: the first, the original, reborn troll-less
