There are those who would say that you are a menace and a danger on the road. Maybe it's time to hand in the car keys, and get a bus pass.

I've just had a quick look at the controls[^] and I'm a little confused. Obviously most of them are going to be to with landing - we won't need any of them - but I can't see where to put the ignition key, or a big button marked "Start"?

She's just got me this[^] with the extras and flight case - should be fun. Has a PC helicopter simulator that connects up to the control pad via USB.

Does the "People who bought this product also bought:" list give you any clues as to what normlly happens when you fly it? I note that the spares aren't that expensive though - very nice to see.

I think I get most of the stuff with the delux set. Spare blades, trainer boots, etc. Can't wait to crank it up in the park. My young boys want Daddy to chase and shoot people with it :)

Can't we just press them one by one till something happens? Landing's no problem at all, if you do nothing at all once your airborne you'll still comedown to earth eventually.

My advice is to get really, really good on the simulator before you fly the real thing. I ordered my heli and a sim at the same time and spent an hour building and an hour on the sim each night. Six weeks later I could fly the heli tail in, side in and nose in and move happily between each orientation on the sim, I'm sure it saved me a fortune in crashes.

Russell Thanks for the advice, I'll practice hard before contemplating cranking up the real heli. The model I got comes with 4 training balls (ping pongs on sticks that attach to the skids) so this should help as well.

Probably a good idea. My uncle bought my cousin an RC helicopter this spring only to crash and break it for him a few hours later. He blamed a wind gust for slamming it into the house...
