Ah! that short but complex question! It's a nightmare commute to my current job, is the main reason. The new one is closer to home (about 30 minutes at rush hour I'm guessing) Bigger company, more perks, more autonomy.

Mine ends tomorrow. I found out about two weeks ago that they'd end my contract on the fourth. A major resort corporation in Colorado who shall remain nameless. I'm working on the last part tonight. I don't have my next yet. :~ But I was pretty done with these guys. :rolleyes: Crystal Reports and T-Sql, with a madhouse for a database. And executives who can't seem to get the staff to understand what they want and why they want it. Weird. I usually don't end up sympathizing with the execs. Good for you, Maxxx. Quitting is such fun. And a break is very nice.

Hmm, I have to drive for 1.5 hours just to get to work. The job itself is great, but that 3 hours of my life wasted each day sucks. I thought about moving, but couldn't sell the house for what I feel it's worth (though now it's getting better). And, up until recently, never gave it a thought to look for a new job as this one has everything I could ever think of having. Good luck though, enjoy your time off.
