Yup, it looks like they plan to keep me, as the boss sign a PO to send me to a class in Las Vegas next month. I'll be at the Riviera for Jan 12, 13, 14 if anyone wants to plan a meet. If so, I'll move this to the proper forum and we'll make plans. If not, I'll just settle for winning millions in the evenings, and sharing it with no one. ;P

I'll be going to Vegas pretty soon myself. I recommend you check out the ice bar they have there. Never been myself, but it looks neat. Apparently the glasses are made of ice and they give you the clothes to wear while in there (although you have to pay an entrance fee). There is also a wax museum you might want to check out. I wouldn't recommend the gambling.

I live in a gambling town... no worries. :-D As for ice bars, it's 34 this morning and I'm not stepping outside. Why would I pay to step inside a place that's even colder? X|

No worries, Bryce. I'm a pretty tame traveller, especially when I'm trying to learn something new in a class. I'll be taking a three-day intensive class in analysis of electric power systems and fault modelling, and will most likely spend evenings studying.

We were in Vegas last month for a conference and the five of us spend nearly half an hour just playing with the wall - it was really fun "throwing" (flicking to the right) an image from one panel to the next.
