I'm sorry Aston Martin, but this Cygnet[^] is f-ugly. Seriously what were they thinking? [Marketing guys in a meeting] "You know what would look really good?" "What?" "Taking the long sleek rolling lines of our normal Aston brand, and then squishing them up onto a Toyota iQ shell!! We would then be a green loving and caring Aston Martin!!" [/Marketing guys in a meeting] P-lease. It looks like a shopping trolley. X|

They need to to meet CO2 emmision standards. If the average CO2 emmision of all the models is below this standard they don't need to modify the cool models.

They'll have to come up with a new sticker: "My other Aston Martin is a car". :)

The story of the ugly duckling was about a cygnet. It had a happy ending. Sadly, this won't.

I can't see them being that successful either. I mean they are alleged to cost £20,000!! Who is going to buy that for £20k? Surely footballers would have more sense than......oh, maybe not.

I don't know. I kind of like it. I like the IQ too. I would never buy one. Purely for practicality. I looked briefly at the IQ a few months ago when I replaced my old car. (we ended up getting a Yaris). It's just not practical to have the boot/back seats combined. Sometimes you just need both. Perhaps as a second car it makes more sense. And £20k! that's around double an IQ.
