I see a ton of play buttons. Clicking them makes them work ( but it seems I can in theory play them all at once ), but I never hear anything. There's no samples, no mention of the style of music ( hillbilly country is my guess ), and I need to give my email address to get the 'free' album. No thanks, I get enough spam without letting these retards know where I am.

Hi, villein. There will be no liberty for you, you are a vassal of your Liege Lord. As you have been wasting your time with futile daydreams of freedom, here is an example[^] of how to show the global climate temperature as a warming or cooling trend, merely by selecting a start date that provides the required outcome.

          Start Trend
          Date F°/century

          1993 +3
          1997 +1
          2001 -2
          2005 -10

Some might describe this as a shoddy statistical abuse of least-squares linear-regression. Certainly no reputable person would put it forward in support of either global warming or cooling. But His Lordship is on record as having used it to prove a cooling trend over an arbitrary 10 years, and very little warming over an arbitrary 15 years. Best not to question him, though, I would hate for you to be horsewhipped to within an inch of your life. Back to the kitchens then, scullion, you have cauldrons to scour.

Oh, the play links don't work, but clicking on the song titles, which are now visible, does. They are more bad Megadeth than Metallica. Especially the double kick drumming. It's average unsigned heavy metal, nothing terrible. Metallica lyrics are definitely a lot more intelligent.

Well, apparently not. While taste is in the eye of the beholder, and not something worth arguing about, I'd venture that if their lyrics did not reflect your beliefs, they would just be another online band to you. It's the same effect that causes bad Christian music to sell decently.

They are PLAINLY an online band, they are promoting themselves through the web. I couldn't find anywhere on google that it seemed they were signed or doing anything else. I am sure they play gigs, but they are not going to be found in any record stores, right ? So, they are an online band.

Yes, like Christian bands, they will get sales and support from people who agree with the message, but the music is not good enough for more than a handful of other people to ever care. They are great for preaching to the converted, their ability to convert people is going to be a whole lot less, especially via a web page.

I suspect that Jeckyl Island reminded me of Devil's Island a little :-) But, if I had to compare, I think Megadeth is closer, although there's no way it's remotely in the same league, as I said.
