I'll join you on this one... Loose weight and get fitter, code more, and get into electronics. I'd like to get into robotics within the next few years. :-D I'd like to try to start my own business in the new year. Not really a resolution, but it's certainly a significant change in my life... :-D

oooo, the Jedi's will feel this one....

Good to hear that. I thought I was the only one gaining weight.

I thought when I would visit the Lounge around the 31st Dec, I would be able to see some new year resolutions being posted here. To my surprise there are none. So lets start now. What are your resolutions for this new year. I will post mine - Loose weight. Sounds funny, but its true. Software development job (sitting job without no movement / physical activities) can help you gain weight quickly ! Your thoughts are welcome !!!! [Edit] : Forgot to wish all CPians and there families a very happy and prosperous new year ! May your coding skills sharpen this year and we see a rise in world economy again.

I've got my final exams for 6th form this year, so I want to do well in them. I want to clear up what's going to happen in my life after them. I want to get a job. And above all, I want the next year to be at least as good as this one.

Don't be since everybody else took this survey[^] and viewed results of that.

Lose weight, stop smoking, stop biting nails, stop bitching, cut down drinking, stop spending - start saving, socks in the linen basket at the end of the day. The usual ones really.

I resolve to do well in my final exams for 6th form. I resolve to clear up what's going to happen in my life after they're done I resolve to do my best to get a job. I resolve to make the next year as good as this one. It's just a matter of chopping and changing the sentences to give it an active voice.

I do not make resolutions as I will not keep them, so why bother. I am 50+ pounds overweight and counting. I really need to start exercising but no resolution.

Everyone seems to get that wrong these days. Oh, and being a fat git is not as bad as everyone makes out. It's a sign of a good life. That's what we need, more fat people.

                                      Regards, Rob Philpott.

I'm doing my part. Seriously, I need a couple of discs replaced in my neck and went the whole summer without getting on my bike once. And for the first time in my life, I'm really starting to pork out. Very discouraging. :sigh:
