No, they aren't 'just another corporation'. They're an example of institutionalized arrogance. Goldman-Sachs was lambasted recently when one of their execs claimed they do 'God's work'. Sounds a lot like 'Do No Evil'. (insert puke emoticon)

Hmm, interesting... There are a lot of quirks to that suggestion thing... If you want a good laugh, just type "Why " and see what pops up... Slightly disturbing.

Possibly, but blood thirsty idiots blowing people up and flying planes into buildings has me convinced otherwise. If Islam itself was more vocal in speaking out against and policing the so called extremists, maybe I would feel differently.

There's plainly an element in Islam that is bloodthirsty, but I always feel that acting and speaking as if they represent all of Islam, is a good way to marginalise Muslims and push them towards such extremist fringe elements. You know I'm a Christian, Islam is a wrong belief and a false God. That doesn't mean we need to assume they are all terrorists.

Maybe I'm missing something but when I put "Islam is" into Google, I get 3.1 million hits. If I put "Islam is bullshit", I get nearly 88,000. "Christianity is bullshit" does only slightly better at 97,000. :suss:

The same could be said of the different Christian faiths every time they kill an abortion doctor... I always hear about them using defending babies as a defense, but I never hear the churches going nuts to condemn these folks to the fiery pit. Any religious extremist is bad. And any religion that doesn't try to stop these folks needs some serious fixing.

why are there school 164,000,000 (might not be page 3 anymore)[^] dick cheney is a (insert his first name again) ... on page 2 has 6,530,000.... god is a f (flying spaghetti monster) gets me 336,000 hits. As you can see my numbers are impressive and also mean absolutely nothing when it comes to reality. ;) Edit: Oh this is fun: Results 1 - 10 of about 926,000 for god is a vengeful god. (0.30 seconds) Results 1 - 10 of about 695,000 for god is a forgiving god. (0.23 seconds) (Apparently more people are fire and brimstone than new testament)
