Hi all, I'm working on an article which would benefit from having an animation to explain a concept. So does anybody know if it is possible to include moving graphics in an article? I was thinking maybe an animated gif or a flash video might do the job, but I'm not sure what an article can contain? Thanks, Chris

Sadly you cannot currently embed a flash video in an article. What you could do is to have a link to a YouTube video. We have tried many formats that would be secure and cost-effective and while we are still thinking of better ways, this is our temporary "fix."

Thanks, Sean Ewington The Code Project

Security concerns do seem to stop these sorts of developments... Is it possible to embed a YouTube video on the page without people needing to leave CP to go and watch it? Thanks, Chris

Not to my knowledge. Not to worry then. I don't know if you have looked at SMIL[^] at all, but it might be worth considering? It should allow simple videos while being more secure then Flash... Anyway, thanks for the help! Chris
