Any efficient way to protect health from computer radiation for a programmer?

To much time to stay in front of the computer. I tried to measure the radiation of my notebook (when measuring, the measuring machine touch what is to be measured), the result is as below: object value(uw/cm2) screen 2000 keyboard 1000 harddisk 3000 earphone 1000 (the sound card is near the harddisk, I'm not sure if it is the reason why an earphone got such a high value) When measure a little far away (eg. 5cm), all becomes zero. They say the healthy value is below 200 uw/cm2. A little worried, any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Become a gardener? Actually you are well below any kind of danger level. Not only are the values very small, the inverse square law brings them down to infinitessimally smaller values. It should be noted that people living in Aberdeen get a higher dose of radiation in a year than people who work in Nuclear Power Stations. (I use Aberdeen as an example, any city built on Granite will do). Do not worry about the radiation source from a computer, there are far higher and more dangerous emitters around! Overhead Power Lines, Laser Pointers, Mobile Phone Relay Towers etc...

Oh radiation is far less dangerous to programmers' health than, say, VB or Project Managers... :)
