I've been receiving messages from this guy since my Toolbox support expired (almost 2 years now). I wrote him a lot of times, asking for some details, but he never answered me back. Now he wants me to fill out a form and become a customer again? This is not a "reminder" anymore - it's just SPAM. Hi , Just a quick friendly reminder that your Toolbox support and subscription has expired. Currently the Toolbox is at Version 7.52 this version provides support for new OfficeXP like toolbars and menus. To renew please fill out this form and fax or email this back: ... Yea, I got the same e-mail from Dundas yesterday. They included a form with a spot for my credit card number but did not mention how much the upgrade cost!

Hi Wanderly, Sometimes developers get so wrapped in their work and daily task that they sometimes forget what's new out there and what has expired. I know that if the gov't never reminded me about my driver's license being expired I would never think to renew it. ;) I'm sorry about your past email inquiries regarding the Toolbox but I assure you I do try to answer all questions in a timely matter. If I did miss your email please do accept my apologies. If you like I can answer any of your questions about the Toolbox now. We are currently on version 7.52 and we added a lot of new and exciting classes like support for new OfficeXP classes. If you want you can contact me anytime, my door is always open! Jake: You can probably add something like this to the emails you send out.. "You are receiving this email because you purchased our a_Dundas_product. If you do not wish to receive this email in future, please reply to mailto:unsubscribe@dundas.com" Just a thought..

I too got this email yesterday and was a bit pissed about it, but not for the reasons stated so far. If dundas is going to go to the trouble of sending an email after my support has expired why cant they a) Send an email ** BEFORE ** my support expires ? A little warning, say 15 days, would be nice. b) Send an email when there is a new release .. I bought the 7.5 toolbox but was never notified there was a 7.52 update until yesterday, ** AFTER ** it was too late for me to download it .. that's just wrong. Will this stop me from being a dundas customer .. probably not, but it sure as heck doesnt make them my favorite vendor either

Jake, Wanderley would be better. :-) I purchased Dundas GoldRush 2000 (Toolbox 5, I think), because you guys said that MFC products would be discontinued and you were offering a great discount. And now you are on version 7.52... I was a little disapointed because I could have the same features I was looking for from BCG or CodeJock - paying less than 50%. And Dundas promised "one new class every week" - THAT never happened. So, I asked you a lot of times what could you do for me: I purchased one product and received a completely diferent thing. I still have this feeling that it was the fastest way to lose $750. So, I'm asking you again: what can you do for me? Regards, Wanderley ps.: I forgot to tell about the funny support I received from Peter Zajac...
