Hi. I'm gonna collect the best movies, I collected some of them like :

    - 2012 (2009)

    • District 9
    • Saving Private Ryan
    • WALL-E
    • Up 2009
    • Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2009

What is the best movie you see ever (Preferably after 2000) ?

That's awfully limiting. Especially since it takes a lot of the best movies out there out of consideration. I'd put Highlander on the list. But I am a bit of a nutjob. Add "300" and "Gladiator" to fill out the "guys getting parts hacked off with swords" movies and you are good. "Star Wars (episode 4)", "Empire Strikes Back" and "Contact" for Science Fiction. (Han Shot first, Lucas can go to hell for the remake) Campy: Anything by Mel Brooks. (Earlier stuff especially, but Spaceballs was still pretty darn funny) Animated: Anything by Pixar is going to be good. Even the weak ones are good. Beauty and the Beast, Alladin, Transformers the Movie (1985) Romantic Comedy: ... (They have to be good, so nevermind) This is just my little list and not even close to complete.

Les quatre cents coups is said to have had the most famous ending of all time, while Truffaut was definitely on the ball there are some that are even more profound. Movies from Hollywood, however, are not even on the list.

A best movies list is a highly subjective one, but I'd recommend these (not all post-2000): The Usual Suspects Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs Gladiator Seven Pretty much all Pixar films (even though Cars is a shameless rip-off of Doc Hollywood) The Magnificent Seven Bullitt Dirty Harry Rocky (and Rocky 2) The God Father (1 and 2) Airplane Top Secret (A Movie) The Naked Gun Blazing Saddles The Life of Brian The Quest for the Holy Grail Salems Lot The Shining The Evil Dead trilogy The Lord of the Rings trilogy Schindlers List The Silence Of The Lambs The French Connection Apocalypse Now The Deer Hunter Local Hero Spinal Tap Blade Runner Grosse Point Blank Crash (simply one of the best pieces of plotting I've ever seen) Frost/Nixon Watchmen The Dark Knight

I'm not a huge movie watcher so I probably missed some but these would be my picks for just last decade: Action Sci-Fi Drama ect... Termintor 3 The Butterfly Effect Gladiator The Matrix Longitude (TV movie but still pretty good) Terminator Salvation (not as good as T2 or T3 but still a good movie) Comedy Wedding Crashers Idiocracy Borat Talladega Nights Blades of Glory

Why limit yourself to after 2000? You're cutting out 95% of the really good films! Leon Amelie (I may be a bloke and a geek, but it's a great film) A Matter of Life and Death Dr Strangelove Most of Miyazaki's films - but start with Howl's Moving Castle And as for the people who recommend Watchmen…why? It's hideous! Read the book instead!!!!

Java, Basic, who cares - it's all a bunch of tree-hugging hippy cr*p MVP for 2010 - who'd'a thunk it!

Because of I absorbed on Visual effect ;) Most of the film before 2000 didn't have any cool visual effects ! I also interested in Science Fiction movies. I don't know many movies in this genre.

Great story lines are much more important than visual effects. The best films tend to be ones where you don't even notice the effects because you are so engrossed in the story.

Forget visual effects - look at the story telling, the acting - that's what makes a film! Really! As for SF films..there's been some real stinkers (and I love my SF!)…but: the first two Star Wars films 2001 A Clockwork Orange Alien Aliens First two Terminator films

And the pr0n movies are a perfect example of this!
