Let me tell you about my Sunday...
-
I only have 2 games for my XBox: DDR and Sonic Mega Collection. FYI, Sonic 2 was the best of all the Sonics.
Next Sunday will be a Rainbow Islands day. I used to play that for hours on my old Amiga.

If it is XBOX(not 360) then you must try Halo. It's the best among all.

I've tried Halo. Not really into that type of game (not that I really play games anymore*). Especially when my friend got 50 kills on me while I only got 1 kill on him. *Actually, I "upgraded" my video card to one that supports pixel shader 3.0 (to play with XNA), so now I can't even play my XBox (my old video card acted as a video input).

I know what you mean - I dug out Serious Sam 2 yesterday. Not bad, but the first was way better (2 is all playstationey, whereas 1 was proper PC). Still have a bash as Doom from time to time...
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand.

Oh, come on. It's not that old and I love it. Maybe the battles aren't epic as they are in SS:TFE/TSE, but jokes are great (especially those involving Duke).

: In which mode you were playing? slayer?? :) and I think, That drove you to left the game before it gets more interesting.

 that should not happen.

I don't remember. The mode where we try to kill each other.

I use my computer monitor as my TV, as I don't have an actual TV. This requires that I route the video through my computer. In order to do that, the video card needs to have inputs that match the outputs from the XBox. My old video card had those inputs. My new video card doesn't. Hence, I can no longer play my XBox with the video routed through my computer to my monitor. Although I did buy an XBox 360 controller that works with a USB receiver on my computer, so I was able to use XNA to make a game that works with an XBox component. Way more fun than actually playing games if you ask me :)

I found an old game in the back of one of the cupboards, Star Trek:Starfleet Academy. This game I bought about 12 years ago and played it on an old, old machine. I thought, yeah, lets play that again. OK, so, install, run, arrgghhhh.... It won't work with my Logitech Pro joystick. OK, I will grab the old joystick that should be in the box in the back bedroom, Found it!, arrggghhh.... It has a 15 Pin D connector, not available on my new system. OK, OK, Calm Down David... So, off to PC World to get a 15 Pin D to USB connector. PC World don't do them! OK, Amazon... Success, Only £8 so I buy it, due to be here tomorrow. All this mucking about for a 12 year old game. I need to get a life, still I played on like a man, using the keypad controls. But, you know, it is not the same as blasting things out of the sky with a joystick! Retro Gaming at it's best, you have to struggle to make it work.

Good luck, I'm not sure how well those things work. I think I read somewhere that there's no way to get the drivers working under Vista or later as well. But let me know how you get on as I've a bunch of old controllers it'd be nice to still be able to use. I've also got some 9-pin Amiga controllers including my all-time favorite joystick for playing older games, a Speedking Turbo. I've got an adapter to allow it to plug into a printer port, but new computer doesn't have one of those.
