This is pretty fuzzy, what did he actually create? It sounds like he just tweaked a linux kernel. Anyone know anymore about it?

Agreed, to me it sounds like he created his own linux distro with the unified kernel. There has been an effort by some to move parts of wine from a userspace application to kernel space. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_Unified_Kernel[^]

Damn! I guess someone posted comment after my post. I was referring to the which says don't sell it to MS or Oracle.

For a 20 year old doing this, he surely has some talent. As far as making him God id concerned, I don't think so. The link I have posted is not that popular so he isn't getting that popular as you think he is.

Holy crap, all the bloat that is the linux monolithic kernel, plus all the bloat you need for WINE, and you have double plus good mega bloat. Yeah that's progress for ya!

Developing a product with the initials POS is probably not a good idea.

I don't know. John Ringo's Paladin of Shadows series is doing well. I'm 99% sure the initials are intentional though. Back before he was talked into publishing it, he referred to Ghost (the first book) as "the wanker piece".
